I'm a Canadian heading south. Truck problems caused me to stop in your town. Called local dealership and repair wait was 4 days. Totally disappointed !!
My wife and I just worked an 84 hr week in Houston after hurricane and finally got a break for a few days to head home to kids and pets...truck breaks down half way home. Don't know the area but Google tells us we are close to El Campo, Tx. After calling another shop, they recommended Novak's and we limped the truck there (Melody waving us down out front so we couldn't miss it) and they put us on highest priority to get us home. The owners are friendly and do a swell job
It's obvious the owner, Danny, knows what he's doing. I know technology has worked its way into auto repair, but even though these guys are equipped with diagnostics and scanning tools, they're the type of mechanics who can tell what's wrong by just listening to the vehicle. Their rates are in line with the industry standard, and they're willing to show in detail how they calculate labor hours.
Family owned, and it shows. Highly recommended. They now also have a cycle shop next door!
